Baseball Hall of Fame Trip – Easton Baseball 2026
Friday April 24 and Saturday April 25, 2026

Basic Itinerary: Player Cost - $185 to Easton Baseball

Purpose. – To compete against West Chester East High School in all three levels (V/JV/JH ) on famous Doubleday Field at the Baseball Hall of Fame. Corey Webb is an Easton baseball alumni and graduate (2016) who coaches and teaches at WCE.

Bus Company – Epic Tours Charters – Emmaus PA.

Hotel – Best Western Cooperstown
50 Commons Drive – Cooperstown NY (607-547-7082)

Games: The games are scheduled as follows but MAY be CHANGED with weather conditions as the Varsity game MUST be played due to PIAA playoff implications for both schools and their opponents. All games scheduled for Doubleday Field in Cooperstown.

Friday – 1:30pm - Junior High Game
Friday - 5pm – JV
Saturday – 1:30pm – Varsity
Note: if weather presents as an issue the schedule will be shuffled!

Friday April 24, 2026

Departure will be at 7AM from EAHS
Breakfast sandwiches, milk, juice, fruit and Breakfast bars provided for players as they board the bus.
Arrival in Cooperstown for lunch on your own around 11:00-11:30pm

Tentative:
Game One – 1:30pm Doubleday Field – Junior High Game
Varsity and JV teams can tour the Baseball Hall of Fame and shop in town and watch game. The Hall of Fame is open from 9am-5pm both days. A Ticket for each player is provided.

JV and Varsity check into Hotel after 3:00pm during JH game.

Return to pick up Freshmen team at conclusion of game and bring to hotel for check in around 4:00pm – JV then returns to Doubleday to play at 5pm with V and JH coming back to watch.

Conclusion of JV game return to hotel and have meal with both teams provided by the Booster groups of both schools.

Saturday April 25:
Breakfast Free at Hotel – Other options are walkable – Bagel Shop, McDonalds etc.
Check Out 12 noon
Varsity Game will be played at 1:30pm
JV and Junior High will be able to tour Baseball Hall of Fame and town starting at 10am

At the conclusion of the game, we will depart for home approx. 4pm and arrive back in Easton around 7:30-8:00pm.

Monday March 2, 2026

All Grade 11-12 Varsity prospects along with select 10th graders who will be told - will practice at 2:45pm after school and should report to the main gym area. All players should be prepared for indoor or outdoor practice and should have baseball pants or sweatpants with a baseball hat and equipment.

Grade 9-10 will practice at 6pm - 7:30pm in the Aux gym area. You should report at 5:45pm

Grade 8 will not practice Monday or Tuesday. They should report at 5:45pm Wednesday March 4 to the gym areas for practice at 6pm.

All Grade 9-12 Players will be told the schedule each day at tryouts but should always check X and or the websites for changes that may occur due to weather.

Please look to our website this weekend for practice times and places for each grade level for tryouts next week. A lot is dependent on gym space, weather, and other factors that will determine who practices where and when.

8th grade will have their first practice on Wednesday March 4 at a time and place to be determined. They will not practice Monday or Tuesday March 2-3.

Grades 9-12 will practice starting Monday.

EAMS - Thursday February 12, 2026 - Grade 8 Only - in Faculty Cafeteria 3:00pm-3:45pm

Zoned Sports Training for Sunday January 25 is cancelled due to the major snowstorm in the mid- Atlantic region on Sunday and dangerous conditions!

Last week's cancellation will be made up March 1, 2026.

This cancellation is TBD on how and when it will be made up. More information will be distributed to the players at next Sunday's session Feb. 1, 2026. We look forward to getting back at it Sunday Feb. 1! Please be safe during this storm!

1. If there is a weather announcement at any time for the training sessions please check @roverbaseball on "X" and on this website for important announcements and you may email Coach LaDuca at laducac@eastonsd.org

2. Please wear baseball gear and have all equipment with you. Wear Easton Baseball related gear if possible. Shorts, Baseball Pants, and or Sweats are all ok and wear a baseball hat. Those who played fall baseball should wear their game shirt and shorts and hats given to them.

3. Please DO NOT enter the facility until 11:20 am due to other teams' use of the facility and please then wait in the lobby area until instructed to enter the baseball area. Workouts will begin promptly at 11:30 and end promptly at 1pm.
